The Toronto Raptors Store Powered by Real Sports Apparel unveiled its second annual Player-Created Collection of New Era caps Tuesday morning. The limited edition caps were designed by Toronto Raptors players to raise funds for various charities, including MLSE Foundation. The four unique cap designs were created by teams of players, with groups led by DeMar DeRozan, Norman Powell and Patrick Patterson respectively as well as one team co-captained by DeMarre Carroll and Cory Joseph. 50 per cent of net proceeds from sales of the collection will support MLSE Foundation’s vision to change the lives of youth through sport and the remaining 50 per cent of proceeds will support additional charities selected individually by each group of players.
Real Sports Apparel and headwear experts New Era brought the Raptors Player-Created Collection back for a second season due to last year’s success and continued positive interest from both fans and players. With only 144 of each design available, the caps are priced at $60 each and are exclusively available at the Toronto Raptors Store Powered by Real Sports Apparel. Fans that support the community by purchasing a cap on Tuesday afternoon will have front-of-the-line access to the meet and greet with several Raptors players at the store.
